About Portuguese Language Teacher, Jennifer Ly
Jennifer Ly has studied Brazilian Portuguese for years, receiving her early language education through an immersion program in Salvador, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In her time in Brazil, Jennifer has worked with communities through various organizations dedicated to alternative agriculture. Having taught English in Brazil to adult learners and having studied various other languages, Jennifer is passionate about teaching and learning languages. Her goal in teaching is to work cooperatively and creatively with students, building a strong foundation in the language and a working knowledge of everyday expressions. Jennifer graduated from U.C. Berkeley in Conservation and Resource Studies and Environmental Economics and Policy.
