Youth Programs
We are now offering after-school youth programs at our Language learning Center. Students will learn basic language skills by engaging in fun activities including games, songs, and other practice interactions. By starting language studies at a young age children easily acquire the skills that make using a second language automatic.
Our classes are presented by language teachers experienced in teaching elementary school. We have six week introductory classes for students between the ages of 7 and 11 in the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French,and Italian. Classes meet once a week for one hour. Tuition is $150.
Introductory language classes cover vocabulary acquisition, basic conversational skills, simple dialogue reading and writing.

We also offer individual sessions for $50/hour.
Portuguese 1 for Young Learners
Course Description: Provides essential words and concepts for forming sentences. Builds a firm foundation of useful vocabulary, including numbers, days of the week, expressing time, colors, foods, and more. Beginning grammatical constructions include definite and indefinite articles, using plurals and gender. Oral practice ensures correct pronunciation.

Portuguese 2 for Young Learners
Course Description: Increases vocabulary of everyday subjects such as family, furniture and clothing. Introduces noun and pronoun usages, adjectives, and the verbs ser and tener. Learn idiomatic expressions, direct objects, and the AR, ER, and IR verb conjugations. Continue forming sentences and oral practice.
